INSTRUCTIONS

WEEK SIX
01.10.18

For the second project, we were briefed by Mr Hafiz on making our own graphic novel using several different types of transitions that were given in Google classroom. The novel has to be based on either a story, an urban legend or our own story. The transitions are attached below.

Mr Hafiz gave us the freedom of choosing any kind of story that we wanted. Just for reference purposes, he gave us a link to Edgar Allen Poe's stories that we could also use to visualise and create a graphic novel out of. I decided to go with Black Cat by Edgar Allen Poe as it appealed the most to me against the others.

WEEK SEVEN
8.10.18

In class, we all worked on the graphic novel together and Mr Hafiz gave us feedback and advice. He pointed out a few Do's and Don't's when it comes to graphic novelling and that transitions play a great role in capturing the audience's interest. He also told us to avoid interpreting the stories that we have chosen literally as it will make the graphic novel seem less interesting.

WEEK EIGHT - WEEK TEN
